5/22/05: Day 2 of Wiffle Atlanta had a pretty good turnout at beautiful Tucker Middle School. The Gorf Rats were a no show (and shame on them!), so the Pirates will play the Gorf Rats at 2 PM on 5/29, while the Expos and Avengers will finish their game on the other field, because of Chris' early departure due to a pre-scheduled dinner. Here's the Day 2 wrapup (through 2.5 innings), basically of the Expos and Avengers game.
Next week starts the next series', with the Gorf Rats starting their 2-game series against the Expos, and the Pirates face the Avengers in the start of their series.
One final note, the Pirates have dropped Greg and he has retired from the league due to transportation problems. So, there's room on the Pirates for a free agent.
